Primary Responsibilities:
As a Professional Engineer on our team, you will help develop legacy building designs on major projects including healthcare and educational industries. You will be responsible for researching, planning, designing, and developing sustainable mechanical systems.
Specific Duties:
- Evaluating and analyzing statistical data, customer design proposals, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application.
- Evaluating design drawings and calculations for HVAC, plumbing components, piping, and mechanical systems to satisfy target requirements throughout the design process and contribute to content and direction.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, technicians, clients, sub-consultants, and others in the design of mechanical systems on a project level basis.

Education/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering education
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE)
- 5+ years of experience
- Proficient with Revit
- Must be a self-starter, self-motivated and able to problem-solve independently.
Work Environment/Physical Requirements:
This position operates in an office environment, regularly working in indoor conditions and on a computer. The noise level is usually moderate. This job entails sitting and collaborating with team members and stakeholders, along with communicating via phone/video. Occasionally, the employee may need to stand, walk, and lift/move objects weighing up to 20 pounds. Some overnight travel may be required.
