DESCRIPTION:RRCC Building Blocks 2021  (7 credits)\n\nSpeaker: Andy Schreder\, Rum River Construction Consultants\n\n\n\n2020 brought a new series of Building Codes which outline the minimum standards required across the state. This 7-hour presentation will include vital information on the following: \n\n	Minnesota State Building Code adoption update\n	Building planning\, chapter 3 with life safety provisions\n	Business Management strategies\, concentration on insurance options and needs\n	RVI\, Remote Virtual Inspections. COVID-19 and other reasons virtual inspections are used\n	MN Energy Code\, air sealing/bypasses\; ventilation air\n	Building Enclosure\, water-resistive barriers\; new construction and remodeling\n\n\n\n**This 7 hour class has been approved by the MN Department of Labor & Industry for continuing education for residential building contractors\, remodelers\, roofers and building officials\, including 1 hour of energy and 1 hour of business management. \n\n\n\nIn-Person Class:\n\nCOVID protocols will be followed for in person classes\, including group size restrictions. Face masks will be required throughout the duration of class. \n\n\n\nSeating is limited\, therefore\, in person class registrations will be given priority to RAB members. \n\n\n\nBottled water will be provided.
